FRENEMIES: Former White House Advisor Releases New Book on Friendship with Melania Trump

New book release.

Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, once a friend of Melania Trump and former White House advisor, released “Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady.”

The book is 351 pages of secrets about Melania Trump.  It is supposed to reveal who the real Melania is and who Wolkoff thought she was.  It describes family drama, gossip, conversations, and is basically a tell-all revenge.  Despite this, Wolkoff still dedicated the book to Melania.

A legal question here is how Wolkoff was able to publish her book.  Was there the existence of an NDA during her course as an advisor?  Wolkoff worked mostly behind the scenes with Melania until February 2018.  It is known that she had signed a nondisclosure agreement with no expiration date regarding inaugural spending. If she had signed other NDAs regarding Melania’s personal life and family details, this book would likely get Wolkoff into trouble.  For the prevention of circumstances like Wolkoff’s book, NDAs are crucial.
