Winner. Meghan Markle has won the defamation lawsuit against her half-sister Samantha Markle.

Samantha sued the Duchess of Sussex for $75,000 in a Florida federal court for allegedly making “demonstrably false and malicious statements” about her in an interview with Oprah Winfrey. Samatha claimed Meghan “orchestrated the campaign to defame and destroy her sister’s and her father’s reputation and credibility.”

However, on Thursday, March 30, 2023, the Florida judge did not agree with Samantha as they thought Meghan’s remarks were opinions and “not capable of being proved false.” This reason led Meghan to win this defamation case against her sister Samantha.
