Knock Knock: Deputies Raid YG’s Home in Connection with Deadly Shootout

YG just cannot seem to get away from the cops . . .

Deputies raided rapper YG’s house in Hollywood Hills in connection with a shooting that took place earlier this month after a judge signed the search warrant. On July 3rd in Compton, someone inside an SUV registered to YG got into a shootout with deputies. During the crossfire between the shooter and deputies, one deputy was shot, while a pedestrian was killed.

According to Sheriff’s sources, YG was neither detained nor arrested, and he was not even present on the property during the raid. YG has repeatedly said that he was nowhere near the shooting incident, and only learned of the events until after they had happened. However, one person on the scene of the raid was arrested for a weapon’s charge. As of now, it is unclear whether the person was involved in the shooting. Testing will reportedly be done on the gun that was recovered.

Despite YG’s claim that he was nowhere near the shooting incident and was unaware of what had happened until afterwards, it would not come as a surprise if it is later revealed that he had something to do with the shooting, given that his SUV was involved in the incident and his house was raided. Hopefully though, this is where the connection between him and the shooting ends, because he has his family and music to focus on.

Stay tuned as this story develops . . .
