MTV’s Teen Mom Jenelle loses custody of her three children after her husband, David Eason, allegedly shot and killed their dog. The judge ruled the two will have no face-to-face contact with the children until further notice.

According to TMZ, People and other news outlets, Jenelle and her husband, David Eason, have lost custody of their kids, as judge rules the couple has serious issues at home putting the children at risk. There were four days of testimony in which the couple themselves and others involved testified about the problems at home. The major trigger for the judge’s ruling was that David had shot and killed their family dog. This led to child protective services removing the children from the couple’s care and into a safer environment. In order for Jenelle and David to regain custody of their children, the judge presented multiple steps such as parenting classes, counseling, and weekly drug testing.

Given that the couple follows the steps presented by the judge they may be able to regain custody of the children or visitation rights. Additionally, to stay on the good side of things the couple should follow laws by taking responsibility and abiding by all court orders. If the couple cannot prove that they have created a safe environment for the children, they may permanently lose custody.
