FAMILY FATALITY: Star, Tim Norman, Charged with Conspiracy in his Nephew’s Murder

Shocking Crime Connection.

The “Sweeties Pie” Family are no strangers to television. They are known for their famous restaurant and hit show “Welcome to Sweetie Pies.” The family has had their share of highs and lows. Recent lows have been grievance over family members who have died to senseless violence. In 2016, Andre Montgomery, relative of the “Sweetie’s Pie” family was shot and  killed. Star and producer, James Timothy Norman (Tim Norman), has been arrested for alleged conspiracy in the killing of his nephew, Andre. Many believed Andre’s death was a setup. According to a TMZ report, Andre was staying at a hotel in St. Louis, which someone entered with a key and stole his belongings. He also received a call moments before his death. Allegedly, Norman used an exotic dancer to help facilitate the setup. The dancer and Andre were supposed to meet up. Allegedly, Norman and the dancer were also in communication regarding Andre’s whereabouts. Norman also flew to St. Louis a day before Andre’s murder.

The St. Louis metropolitan Police Department Homicide Section and FBI are investigating the current charges. Norman is charged with conspiracy to use interstate commerce facilities (a cellphone) in the commission of a murder-for-hire, resulting in death. A person can be charged with conspiracy even if they did not commit the actual crime. It does not matter whether it was completed or attempted. If Norman is found guilty of conspiracy to murder, he can be liable to imprisonment for life or any shorter sentencing term.

It appears Norman plan to set Andre up to be murdered was for money. “Federal authorities claim that in 2014, Norman secured a $450,000 life insurance policy on his teenage nephew, making himself the sole beneficiary.” According to Page Six, Norman is said to have contacted the life insurance company one week after Andre’s death, in an attempt to collect on the policy he obtained on his nephew. Norman was arrested in Jackson, Mississippi. he is currently being held in the Madison County Detention Center.
