Freedom. Bobby Shmurda was released from prison earlier this week which is 10 months earlier than expected. Shmurda had been in prison since 2016.

Rapper Shmurda was charged with conspiracy and weapon possession in 2014, in 2016 he took a plea deal for seven years. He was released 10 months earlier than expected by the judge for good behavior and his participation in prison programs. Shmurda will still be under parole supervision for the next 5 years.

Parole is an early release from prison under specific terms and conditions. If a person does not comply with the conditions of their parole they are subject to being returned to prison.
