A tragic loss for a family.

At age 57, actress Kelly Preston has passed away after her two-year battle with breast cancer.

Her husband, actor John Travolta informed the public about her passing via social media.  He wrote “She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many. My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side.  Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered.” Preston was known for her roles in “Jerry Maguire,” “Twins,” and “For Love of the Game.” She was also a mother to three children.

Travolta announced that he will now be taking time off to be there for the family.
