To NDA or not to NDA? Beyonce and Tiffany Haddish

Last week, Tiffany Haddish, The Girl’s Trip star recently told GQ about a Hollywood party she attended during which an unnamed actress bit Bey in the face. It launched the viral #WhoBitBeyonce hashtag investigation on social media.  It was first speculated that it was actress Sanaa Lathan but she quickly dispelled that rumor on Twitter.  And then it was said that model Christie Teigen actually knows but even she refuses to spill the beans!

I personally don’t care that much about whether Beyonce was I am more interested in the news that Haddish may have had to sign a NDA with Beyonce since causing all this controversy.  A NDA better known as a Non Disclosure Agreement can be mutual (both parties agree to speak to each other and reveal business or personal secrets) or one way (where one party has certain disclosures they need to make in meeting with your or talking with you).  In this case, TIffany is a open book so I’m pretty sure the NDA was one way from Beyonce if it even exists.  Penalties for violating NDA’s can range from several hundreds of thousands of dollars or even millions and sometimes money will not due so damage is irreparable and you may be ordered to stop doing something (injunctive relief).

Recenty, Haddish was spotted with TMZ outside of a West Hollywood Mexican restaurant and asked whether she really signed a non-disclosure agreement issued by Beyonce herself.

“That ain’t none of your business! I learned my lesson,” she said. “I’m not talking to y’all!”

Why I don’t believe she signed on is that you typically sign NDA’s before speaking to someone not after.  And after this not sure Beyonce plans on sharing anything else with her at least not confidentiality and only if in that case would she probably have her sign something at that time.

For now Haddish lips are sealed, literally! LOL
