Times up! R. Kelly turns himself in after 10 counts charged

Update -2/22/19 R. Kelly granted BOND at $1M and has to pay 10% ($100,000). Two of the victims were also revealed. One of the girls appeared in #SurvivingRKelly documentary who met Kelly at his first sex tape court hearing and the other person was an adult hair dresser who claimed abuse while trying to do Kelly’s hair. The most explosive finding is that one of the witnesses is the aunt from the girl from the first sex tape. Smh.

Previously a Chicago judge authorized a no-bail arrest warrant for R. Kelly, after the R&B singer was charged with 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse.

Judge Dennis Porter signed the order. No-bail arrest warrants does not necessarily mean that Kelly won’t eventually be offered bail once appearing in court to answer the charges.

The charges filed Friday list four victims stemming back from 1998, including at least three months between the ages of 13 and 17. The victims are listed only by initials in the legal documents.

After the #Metoo campaigns and the devastating “Surviving R. Kelly” Lifetime documentary it appears that Kelly may be finally meeting his destiny and facing the consequences of his bad behavior that spans decades. While he is entitled to innocent until proven guilty legal right under due process it is clear from the new tape that allegedly has him clearly shown and him saying age of underage girl he is having sex that the evidence (and willing victim cooperation) is what separates his case from the last sex tape case he was acquitted from so many years ago.

His bond hearing is set for tommorow 2/23/19 and next Trial Date is March 8. Stay Tuned…
