Don’t say another word.  R. Kelly allegedly has his lawyers filing a motion with a judge to fine and jail his ex-wife, Drea Kelly, for breaking a confidentiality clause in their divorce agreement.

As reported by TMZ, Washington Post, and other news outlets R. Kelly is alleging his ex-wife has breached a marital settlement agreement they signed in January 2009. The settlement agreement was insuring Drea would not speak on “any account of their private lives, business activities, relationship with each other, marriage or circumstances surrounding the dissolution.”  Kelly wants the judge to order her not to speak about their marriage in public anymore. Just last week Drea interviewed with TMZ where she spoke about missing child support payments, which was the most recent reason for R. Kelly filling the motion. Nevertheless, it has already been public information that Kelly was jailed for three days in March for failing to pay about $160,000 in child support.

It does look like Drea has breached the divorce agreement by blasting R. Kelly for missing child support payments publicly. However, Kelly’s reputation in public has not really been affected by Drea’s statements alone, his other lawsuits have done bigger damage. If the judge feels that Drea has indeed breached R. Kelly might be looking at a monetary damages award for any losses he has suffered.
