SALE: Damon Dash Allowed to Sell His Interest In Rocafella Records But Denied Sale Of Jay-Z’s Album

SALE. Damon Dash has been allowed by the court to sell his interest in Roc-a-fella Records as a NFT but not his interest in Jay-Z’s Reasonable Doubt album.

Damon Dash and Jay-Z’s legal battle has been ongoing. Dash wants to sell his 1/3 ownership stake in the hip-hop label he co-founded in 1995 with Jay-Z and Kareem “Biggs” Burke, Roc-A-Fella Records. The judge has denied him from selling any interest in Jay-Z’s album. Although the ruling is only temporary, the federal judge said Jay and Roc-A-Fella’s arguments were “deemed credible and correct.” Regardless of order, Dash has stated he is starting an auction for his third of Roc-A-Fella Records with a starting bid of $10 million.

What will Jay-Z do to prevent this auction?
