Powerful. Rapper Lil Baby used his platform at the 2021 Grammy’s to highlight the problem of police brutality.

Lil Baby performed his song “The Bigger Picture” with an opening scene of a black man being gunned down by a police officer.  Lil Baby recreated the protests which covered Black Lives Matter and others in response to deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Rayshard Brooks, and the countless other black Americans who have been killed over the years. The song “The Bigger Picture” was released during the spark of police brutality after the killing of Brenna Taylor and George Floyd. Activists Tamika Mallory and Killer Mike joined the rapper. Activist Mallory’s statement to the President Biden “we demand justice, equity, policy and everything else that freedom encompasses. We don’t need allies, we need accomplices.”
