LOSS. Britney Spears loses bid to the court to have her dad immediately removed from the conservatorship. The judge denied her request without prejudice which will allow her to file again.

Britney argued there is an immediate need to remove her dad from the conservatorship as it is critical to her emotional health and well-being and in her best interests. Her dad was granted conservatorship over her after she suffered public meltdowns.

Conservatorship is granted when a person is considered mentally incapable of taking care of themselves.
