This is happening on the heels of him turning himself in to avoid arrest. He posted his $10,000 for his $100,000 bond and has to turn over his passport so he could be released from jail. His new lawyer by the way is Mark Geragos (Chris Brown and Colin Kaepernick lawyer) . He is being charged with disorderly conduct and filing false police report and could face 3 years in prison if found guilty. This does not include what he could face if FBI finds he sent the threatening letter to the Empire Fox studio.<\/p>\n<p>So what is next for Jussie? Contrary to popular belief, an indictment is not a guilty charge. It is much easier to present evidence of probable cause to get an indictment from a Grand Jury than getting a guilty verdict in a court of law where the prosecution will have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Jussie paid the brother suspects to get a guilty conviction. Jussie has already admitted that he had hired the brothers in the past for personal services like physical training. So the prosecution will have to prove that this $3500 check was specifically used to hire them for this assault for hire. They also haven\u2019t presented any evidence that he sent threatening letter to studio prior to his assault. If they can\u2019t prove these things then they can\u2019t prove the assault was fake and therefore they can\u2019t say Jussie\u2019s filed report about his assault was false. It\u2019s like a domino effect. PERIOD. The only way Jussie gets a guilty verdict if he confesses or Jury goes against legal instructions and convicts him even though there is clear reasonable doubt.
