{"id":824,"date":"2019-02-12T00:28:44","date_gmt":"2019-02-12T06:28:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/?p=824"},"modified":"2019-03-01T19:42:30","modified_gmt":"2019-03-02T01:42:30","slug":"grammys-aftermath-cardi-b-leaves-instagram-nicki-leaves-bet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/home\/grammys-aftermath-cardi-b-leaves-instagram-nicki-leaves-bet\/","title":{"rendered":"Grammys Aftermath: Cardi B leaves Instagram  Nicki leaves BET"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Cardi B was the fist solo female rapper to win best rap album!\u00a0 However, the excitement soon withered when critics accused her win as unfair over the likes of Pusha T, Travis Scott, Nipsey Hustle and the infamous deceased Mac Miller.\u00a0 Cardi B&#8217;s response was to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Bt12FFDAnMI\/\">delete her Instagram but not before ranting and going off on her critics first<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>In other news, BET social media team posted a since deleted offensive tweet about Cardi B winning a Grammy over Nicki Minaj not having one and the Queen was not having it!<\/p>\n<p>BET tweeted:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/DzIShYTU8AIVfr-.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-825 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/DzIShYTU8AIVfr-.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"472\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/DzIShYTU8AIVfr-.jpg 472w, https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/DzIShYTU8AIVfr--138x300.jpg 138w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 472px) 100vw, 472px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m pretty sure she used the morality clause to trigger the breach on BET&#8217;s part of their concert agreement for her to participate in the 2019 BET awards show concert lineup.\u00a0 Nicki Minaj is no longer performing and neither is any of Young Money including Rapper Lil Wayne.\u00a0 BET has since issued an apology:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;BET loves Nicki Minaj. We have supported her from the very beginning of her career and will continue to do so moving forward,&#8221; the network said in a statement. &#8220;We deeply apologize for the hurt, disappointment and confusion that this post has caused.
