{"id":725,"date":"2018-10-02T10:47:41","date_gmt":"2018-10-02T15:47:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/?p=725"},"modified":"2018-10-02T12:12:17","modified_gmt":"2018-10-02T17:12:17","slug":"cardi-b-nyc-arrest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/home\/cardi-b-nyc-arrest\/","title":{"rendered":"Cardi B NYC Arrest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Cardi B, former Love and Hip Hop TV star turned rapper, who performed at the Global Citizens concert in New York&#8217;s Central Park Saturday night, took the time on Monday to turn herself into a police station in Queens after she was arrested and charged with misdemeanor reckless endangerment and assault stemming from a strip club fight in August.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/BBAB2C16-1B15-407B-B154-B7EA35E3AA84.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-727 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/BBAB2C16-1B15-407B-B154-B7EA35E3AA84-300x288.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"288\" srcset=\"https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/BBAB2C16-1B15-407B-B154-B7EA35E3AA84-300x288.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/BBAB2C16-1B15-407B-B154-B7EA35E3AA84.jpeg 750w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Officer Andrew Lava, a spokesman for the NYC \u00a0Police Department, confirmed that\u00a0the platinum-selling rapper, surrendered at the 109th Precinct. She was arrested and released with a &#8220;desk appearance ticket&#8221; to return to face the charges at a later, unspecified court date.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0charges involve a fight and assault incident at the Angels Strip Club, not far from the precinct, on Aug. 29, in which Cardi B and some in her entourage are alleged to have thrown furniture recklessly, causing injuries to employees&#8217; feet\u00a0and legs.<\/p>\n<p>Cardi B and her attorney seem not to be to worried since according to her attorney there is no evidence that anyone was injured in the bar incident.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This makes the second assault incident for Cardi with her she throwing incident with Nicki Minaj.
