Kim Kardashian West is not entering law school despite her husband Kanye’s claim, a representative for the star has confirmed.<\/p>\n

During an interview on the red carpet at the Ralph Lauren New York Fashion Week show on Friday night, Kanye told U.S. TV show Extra: “My wife is in law school now, and it’s extremely serious to us.”<\/p>\n

Quite a declaration for it to be a misunderstanding.\u00a0 However, on Monday, Kim’s representative dispelled Kanye’s exuberant claim, clarifying to editors at Page Six that the reality star is not actually in school, but is just deeply involved in prison reform – likening her work to being like a “law student”.<\/p>\n

The rapper’s comments came after Kim in recent months was successful with Donald Trump with the pardon of convicted great-grandmother Alice Marie Johnson. She is now working on freeing Chris Young, who was sentenced to life in prison for drug possession after being arrested in 2010.<\/p>\n

Kim, whose late father, Robert Kardashian Sr., if you recall was a top attorney who defended O.J. Simpson in his infamous murder trial in the 1990s, didn’t graduate from college, only attending for a short period, but she did express in an interview with Wonderland that she may one day pick up the legal baton if her popularity wanes.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf things slow down and I had time, I really wanna go to law school \u2013 just something I can do in my older age,” she said in 2016. And last year, she shared on Snapchat that her own attorney, Mike Kump, believes she has what it takes to be a lawyer.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
