It was reported that she had been suffering through a long illness which ultimately led to her death. Throughout her 6 decade career, she faced many personal and professional hurdles that she overcame and opened doors for many young Black women in music that came after her. She first came to fame in the 60s as a part of the Ike and Tina Turner Revue and finally retired in 2021 after her documentary, Tina came out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Turner&#8217;s estate will go to her husband and any of heirs of her biological children who died before her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Was Tina Turner an icon to you?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RIP.
