Sanderson, the plaintiff, claims that Paltrow skied into him causing brain damage and broken ribs. Paltrow is opposing his claims and says that Sanderson skied into her while she was with her family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Tuesday, both Paltrow and Sanderson&#8217;s attorneys gave their opening statements in front of 8 jurors. Sanderson initially sued Paltrow for $3.1 million; however, he changes his complaint and is now seeking $300,000 in damages.
