{"id":4873,"date":"2021-11-11T12:21:42","date_gmt":"2021-11-11T18:21:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/?p=4873"},"modified":"2021-11-11T12:21:42","modified_gmt":"2021-11-11T18:21:42","slug":"lawsuits-cases-against-travis-scott-reach-more-than-40","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/home\/lawsuits-cases-against-travis-scott-reach-more-than-40\/","title":{"rendered":"LAWSUITS: Cases Against Travis Scott Reach More Than 40"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Trouble is brewing.<\/p>\n<p>Following the Astroworld tragedy this past weekend, legal troubles continue to mount as there are now reportedly 110 plaintiffs in lawsuits against Travis Scott, and there are more than 40 lawsuits filed.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"https:\/\/e3.365dm.com\/21\/11\/2048x1152\/skynews-travis-scott-astroworld_5573743.jpg?bypass-service-worker&amp;20211106124631\" width=\"656\" height=\"369\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On November 8th alone, 19 lawsuits were filed in Harris County Texas. Also listed as defendants on the lawsuits are LiveNation, Drake, and NRG Park. Most, if not all, of the lawsuits cite negligence. The first lawsuit, which was filed by concertgoer Manuel Souza, also contends that the defendants had \u201ca motivation for profit at the expense of concertgoers\u2019 health and safety\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Since the tragedy, Scott has released statements offering his sympathy.<\/p>\n<p>Scott said he could \u201cnever imagine the severity of the situation\u201d and said said that he always wants to \u201cleave [his fans] with a positive experience\u201d. \u201cAnytime I can make out what\u2019s going on, I stop the show and help them get the help they need,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Scott has also offered to pay for the funeral expenses of those killed at the concert.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Trouble is brewing.
