Company is accusing Brown of stealing pieces of artist Red Rat\u2019s 1997 song\u00a0\u201cTight Up Skirt.&#8221; In its legal filing to the court Company alleges\u00a0claims that it \u201cowns and administers exclusive music publishing rights in the United States\u201d for \u201cTight Up Skirt.\u201d Furthermore, Brown&#8217;s song Privacy \u201ctook the core musical feature\u201d of the song and used it \u201cwithout permission.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Publishing Company is seeking monetary damages and permanent injunctive relief.<\/p>\n<p>Should Chris Brown be barred from selling or promoting anything related to the copyrighted material?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PRIVACY.
