Her trial is set for October and now a new explosive piece of evidence has been revealed to favor her argument. She claims the lead ringer Singer has notes in his phone to exonerate her.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/24439358-19D4-4200-BE41-82AD820679F1.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4156 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/24439358-19D4-4200-BE41-82AD820679F1-300x209.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"209\" srcset=\"https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/24439358-19D4-4200-BE41-82AD820679F1-300x209.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/24439358-19D4-4200-BE41-82AD820679F1.jpeg 506w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the notes, Singer describes a conversation with FBI agents: \u201cLoud and abrasive call with agents,\u201d he wrote, adding, \u201cThey continue to ask me to tell a fib and not restate what I told my clients as to where there [sic] money was going.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The couple\u2019s attorneys claim in the filing that Singer\u2019s notes prove that they believed their $500,000 payment to the University of Southern California was a legitimate donation and not a bribe.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecutors in response are planning to cal her kids to the stand but they can easily plea them Fifth since they were also involved.<\/p>\n<p>Are you buying that she thought it was a donation only?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just in the nick of time.
