On Saturday, Joe Biden was projected to be the 46th president of the United States.\u00a0The 2020 Presidential election was intense. The world spent nearly a week in anticipation wondering who would be elected as the next president of the United States. In a time of unrest given the challenges of 2020, supporters appeared more anxious than usual.<\/p>\n

Many celebrities were very vocal regarding who they supported, leading up to the election. Celebrities continue to use their voice by reacting to the news of the president elect. Celebrities in support of Biden have expressed their happiness with joyful remarks on social media. While celebrities in support of Trump are demanding a recount in some states.<\/p>\n

Celebrities such as Beyonce, Cardi B, John Legend, Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson, Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Leonardo DiCaprio,\u00a0 and Cher are just a few stars who have endorsed the Biden Harris Campaign. Celebrities such as Lil Wayne, 50 cent, Kid Rock Roseanne, Kirstie Alley, and Stacey Dash are just a few stars who have endorsed the Trump Pence Campaign.<\/p>\n

Here are a few of the celebrities reaction to the election below according to Page Six:<\/p>\n

Artist, Lizzo, did an emotional video on Instagram with teary eyes, she said “she believed that Trump simply \u201cdidn\u2019t care\u201d about the American people.” She also talked about her excitement and pride in knowing a black woman will hold office as Vice-President for the first time in US history. She said this is not the end but the beginning of progress.”<\/p>\n

Amy Schumer, wrote “This is such a big deal guys!! We did it. Anyone else crying like a monster? Millions made their voice decisively clear: they chose\u00a0@joebiden\u00a0and\u00a0@kamalaharris\u00a0to guide us to a better future!”<\/p>\n

Singer, Pink, wrote “This news has brought me to tears. I was overwhelmed with relief for this country. I was overwhelmed for Kamala and the inspiration that she brings to girls everywhere. Van Jones made me cry ugly tears. This country has so much work to do to come together. I pray we can do it.”<\/p>\n

Singer\u00a0 Ariana Grande thanked the almighty after learning of the results.<\/p>\n

Khloe Kardashian, wrote, “OMG I want to cry tears of joy!!!! Bravo!!!”<\/span><\/p>\n

Kim Kardashian,\u00a0congratulated the Biden-Harris ticket by posting a photo of Biden and Harris along with three heart emojis.<\/p>\n

These are only a few of the joyous remarks. There has been many protest since the election results on Saturday against the outcome. Trump supporters are convinced the election was stolen. They believe the mail-in ballots should not have been counted, believing the election was stolen from Trump with the mail-in ballots. Many believe there were more mail in ballots for Biden than Trump because Trump was urging his supporters not to send in mail-in ballots.<\/p>\n

Prior to the announcement of Biden Harris campaign victory, Trump had falsely and prematurely declared himself the winner. Here, Trump may be in denial and refuse to concede. According to Time, Trump has filed many lawsuits in regards to the election. “Many of his campaign\u2019s lawsuits filed this week have been dismissed on lack of merit, and the ones that have gained some traction are unlikely to change the outcome of the Presidential race.”<\/p>\n
