{"id":3448,"date":"2020-10-07T14:35:36","date_gmt":"2020-10-07T19:35:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/?p=3448"},"modified":"2020-10-07T14:35:36","modified_gmt":"2020-10-07T19:35:36","slug":"deleted-facebook-removes-trumps-post-about-covid","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/home\/deleted-facebook-removes-trumps-post-about-covid\/","title":{"rendered":"DELETED: Facebook Removes Trump&#8217;s Post About Covid"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Misinformation Prevention.<\/p>\n<p>Facebook removed a post from President Trump in which he falsely claimed that Covid-19 is less deadly than the seasonal flu.<\/p>\n<p>Facebook spokesperson Andy Stone confirmed the company removed the post on Tuesday for breaking its rules on Covid-19 misinformation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/106419531-1583158710256rts346i1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3449\" src=\"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/106419531-1583158710256rts346i1-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/106419531-1583158710256rts346i1-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/106419531-1583158710256rts346i1.jpg 678w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Trump also posted the same message on Twitter.\u00a0 That post is still up, but Twitter has stated that the tweet also violates their company\u2019s rule on misleading information.<\/p>\n<p>Back in August, both Facebook and Twitter removed an additional post by Trump for containing a false claim that children are \u201calmost immune\u201d to the virus.<\/p>\n<p>Did you see any of these posts?
