The Plot Thickens.<\/p>\n

The 20-year-old rapper, NBA YoungBoy was arrested on Monday night for allegedly being among a group of 16 people facing numerous charges, including felony drug possession and stolen firearms.<\/p>\n

Right after this news, 19-year-old Yaya Mayweather took to Instagram to leak news of her pregnancy by showing her baby bump in a TikTok dance video.\u00a0 Yaya has been in an on-again-off-again relationship with NBA YoungBoy, who is now expected to be the father of Yaya\u2019s baby.<\/p>\n

NBA YoungBoy is also the father of six children of his own by five women.\u00a0 Earlier this year, Yaya was arrested after allegedly stabbing one of the rapper\u2019s baby mothers.\u00a0 Following the arrest, she was reportedly charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, leading to a potential 99-year prison sentence.<\/p>\n

NBA YoungBoy has since been released on Tuesday afternoon. \u00a0His attorney issued this statement:\u00a0“It is important to remember that when someone is arrested for a crime it does not mean they are guilty of anything. \u00a0Kentrell Gaulden (NBA YoungBoy’s real name), is innocent of the crimes he was arrested for yesterday evening. \u00a0He did not possess any firearms nor did he possess any controlled dangerous substances. \u00a0Law enforcement arrived on scene without any evidence of a crime occurring and immediately detained 15-20 young black men solely based on an alleged tip that firearms were present on the scene.”<\/p>\n

The attorney also added, “We still have the Second Amendment in the Unite States. \u00a0The immediate detention of these black men was illegal in that it violated their Constitutional rights. \u00a0The subsequent searches conducted by law enforcement were also illegal. \u00a0Even with the illegal searches that were conducted, no firearms or controlled dangerous substances were found on Mr. Gaulden’s person or in his immediate control. \u00a0Mr. Gaulden is innocent of the charges he was booked on last night and looks forward to defending himself as such.”<\/p>\n
