{"id":3335,"date":"2020-09-23T15:12:50","date_gmt":"2020-09-23T20:12:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/?p=3335"},"modified":"2020-09-23T18:42:02","modified_gmt":"2020-09-23T23:42:02","slug":"charged-netflix-star-jerry-harris-arrested-for-child-pornography","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/home\/charged-netflix-star-jerry-harris-arrested-for-child-pornography\/","title":{"rendered":"CHARGED: Netflix Star Jerry Harris Arrested for Child Pornography"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Not so Cheer.<\/p>\n<p>Netflix \u201cCheer\u201d star, Jerry Harris, has been arrested and charged for child pornography.\u00a0 He was arrested last Thursday morning to appear in court in Chicago and will remain in federal custody for the time being.<\/p>\n<p>According to the US attorney\u2019s office, Harris allegedly enticed an underage 13-year-old boy to produce sexually explicit photos and videos of himself from December 2018 to March 2020. \u00a0In court records, Harris admitted to soliciting and receiving the content from this minor, as well as 10 to 15 other individuals, but a spokesperson for Harris has now denied the allegations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/jerry-harris-92.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3336\" src=\"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/jerry-harris-92-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/jerry-harris-92-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/jerry-harris-92.jpg 618w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Harris did not enter a plea. \u00a0His spokesperson told CNN: \u201cwe categorically dispute the claims\u201d and \u201care confident that when the investigation is completed, the true facts will be revealed.\u201d \u00a0Harris&#8217; attorney, Todd Pugh, said he intends to argue for Harris&#8217; release, because his client has asthma and is at increased risk for the cases of coronavirus spreading in the facility.<\/p>\n<p>What do you think of this case?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Not so Cheer.
