Students will study the business side of Kandi&#8217;s music publishing, productions, companies, and investments. In particular, they will analyze the contracts the Grammy Award-winning songwriter has signed through the years and hear from guest speakers, such as Kandi\u2019s mother, manager, and attorney.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI chose Kandi because she has an amazing career, which spans every aspect of the entertainment industry from music, television, and live performance to licensing, apparel, and more,\u201d Professor Ivory said in the news release.<\/p>\n<p>The course began in 2018 with the life of rapper and entertainer Ludacris.<\/p>\n<p>Would you take the course if you were enrolled at Georgia State?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Class is in Session.
