No Easy Exit.<\/p>\n

Ellen DeGeneres and her bosses at Warner Bros. now face a decision over how to end her current contract.<\/p>\n

Warner Bros. launched an investigation after multiple people described a \u201ctoxic culture\u201d at Ellen\u2019s show. \u00a0Many people came forward that Ellen is known to be mean and incredibly difficult.\u00a0 In response, Ellen stated that people are misrepresenting who she is, shifting the blame to her executive producers.<\/p>\n

In 2016, Ellen established the Ellen Digital Network under Warner Bros. Last May, she signed a new deal to continue her daytime talk show through 2022.<\/p>\n

Ending Ellen’s contract puts Warner Bros. in a very difficult position. \u00a0A Hollywood insider stated: \u201cWarners put hundreds of millions of dollars into their deal with her. If they decide they want her out \u2013 which looks increasingly likely \u2013 this will be a big legal problem.\u00a0 Plus, she\u2019d never leave without her reputation intact.\u00a0The other big problem is there is no replacement for Ellen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Representatives for Ellen and Warner Bros. have not yet commented back.\u00a0 The company had said in a statement on Thursday, \u201cWe are disappointed that the primary findings of the investigation indicated some deficiencies related to the show\u2019s day-to-day management.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
