{"id":2529,"date":"2020-07-09T14:45:33","date_gmt":"2020-07-09T19:45:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/?p=2529"},"modified":"2020-07-09T14:45:33","modified_gmt":"2020-07-09T19:45:33","slug":"requesting-silence-attorney-for-nipsey-hussles-accused-killer-requests-jury-transcripts-be-sealed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/home\/requesting-silence-attorney-for-nipsey-hussles-accused-killer-requests-jury-transcripts-be-sealed\/","title":{"rendered":"REQUESTING SILENCE: Attorney for Nipsey Hussle\u2019s Accused Killer Requests Jury Transcripts Be Sealed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sealing the Truth.<\/p>\n<p>The lawyer for accused Nipsey Hussle killer Eric Holder has requested that the transcripts from his grand jury hearing be sealed until after the trial to ensure a fair and impartial ruling.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/eric-holder.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2530 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/eric-holder.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"203\" height=\"249\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The transcripts stem from the 23-member grand jury panel that returned a six-count indictment against Holder, including one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder, one count of assault with a firearm, and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.<\/p>\n<p>Holder pled not guilty to all charges and faces life in state prison if convicted for the murder.<\/p>\n<p>Lowynn Young, Holder\u2019s public defender, argued to L.A. County Superior Court Judge Robert J. Perry that releasing the public records would influence their case so much that witnesses and experts might not come forward in Holder\u2019s defense.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/nipsey-3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2533 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/nipsey-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"275\" height=\"183\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It has been over a year since Nipsey Hussle was shot in front of a Hyde Park clothing store.
