Nicole\u00a0Young filed documents seeking to end her marriage with Dr. Dre, the rapper and music mogul whose real name is Andre Young, on Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>Nicole Young, 50, is seeking spousal support from the 55-year-old Dr. Dre, who has amassed a major fortune in his time as an N.W.A\u00a0member, solo rapper, producer, co-owner of Death Row Records and founder and CEO of Aftermath Entertainment and Beats Electronics.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/unnamed-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2407\" src=\"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/unnamed-1-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/unnamed-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/unnamed-1-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/unnamed-1.jpg 992w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>According to Forbes, the music mogul\u2019s net worth is valued at $800 million,\u00a0putting him at No. 2 on the 2019 list of the world&#8217;s wealthiest hip-hop artists. In December of that year, Dre\u00a0topped the earnings of the decade\u00a0with $950 million, thanks mostly to his Beats Electronics empire.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The couple does not have a prenup in place, according to TMZ. This could mean that Nicole Young could walk away from the divorce with half of his fortune ($400 million) as well as assets. The pair got married in May 1996.\u00a0The couple has 2 children, a son and a daughter ages 23 and 19, respectively.\u00a0Prior to their marriage, Nicole was married to former NBA point guard, Sedale Threatt.
