The Los Angeles County District Attorney\u2019s Office has charged Daniel ‘Danny’ Masterson with raping three women by force or fear. The actor, who played Steven Hyde on That 70\u2019s Show<\/em> and previously starred in the Netflix series The Ranch<\/em>, faces a possible sentence of 45 years to life in state prison.<\/p>\n

He is accused of raping a 23-year-old woman between January and December 2001, a 28-year-old woman in April 2003, and another 23-year-old woman between October and December 2003.<\/p>\n

The District Attorney\u2019s Office stated that it declined to file sexual assault charges against the actor in two other investigations, one for insufficient evidence and the other because of a statute of limitations issue.<\/p>\n

According to jail records, Masterson was arrested Wednesday at 11:30 a.m, his bond was set at $3.3 million, and he was bonded out at 2:44 p.m the same day.<\/p>\n

The LAPD originally began investigating Masterson\u00a0in early 2017. Arraignment is scheduled for September 18 in downtown Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
