Full House to Jail House? Hollywood stars indicted by FBI with college scam

Full House star Lori Loughlin and Desperate Housewives Felicity Huffman have been indicted by FBI on fraud with a nationwide college admissions scandal. They are 2 of 50 persons that were involved in what the FBI is calling “Operation Varsity Blues” scandal where the parents reportedly paid a consultant $200K to 6.5M to guarantee admission for their kids into certain schools that include Yale, Stanford and Georgetown !

Both Lori and Felicity have been charged with the same felony charge; conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud.

A cooperating witness told authorities he traveled from Tampa to a West Hollywood test center to administer Huffman’s daughter’s exam. She received a 1420 on her test, which was 400 points higher than a PSAT taken a year earlier without the same administrator, the complaint states.

Loughlin along with her husband allegedly agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team, even though they did not participate in crew, the complaint said.

Felicity has been arrested along with 37 others and is in custody. However, Lori is in Canada and has not been arrested so far. 13 of the persons involved live in Los Angeles and 2 other LA schools (UCLA and USC) are also involved in scandal.

This all begs the question of whether kids involved in scandal will be kicked out of school over this? And more importantly were the kids aware of what their parents had done? Stay tune…
