Fake News: R. Kelly’s Alleged Sex Slaves Shut Down Eviction Rumors

R. Kelly just can’t stay out of the news . . .

R. Kelly’s alleged sex slaves, or as they see themselves, girlfriends, Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary, recently released a video disputing reports that they were evicted from the singer’s high-rise apartment in Chicago’s Trump Tower following his arrest on Thursday. In the video obtained by TMZ, the two women called the reports “fake news” and assured viewers that they were living comfortably in Trump Tower, coming and going as they please. Prior to the release of the video, no one knew Joycelyn and Azriel’s whereabouts, including their parents. There were rumors the two women were kicked out, which we now know is false, as they have been in R. Kelly’s apartment the entire time. The women further assured viewers that they were not being held against their will.

As for R. Kelly, he was arrested again this past Thursday on a 13-count indictment, which reportedly includes charges of child pornography, enticement of a minor, and obstruction of justice. This is on top of the state charges he’s already facing. Despite the singer’s new legal battles, it seems his “girlfriends” will be right behind him. They will reportedly be right behind the singer in federal court when he is to appear before a judge for these new sex crimes. Further, Joycelyn and Azriel continue to show their public support for R. Kelly.

According to Complex, “In regards to possible sentences in the first federal criminal charges brought against the singer, Kelly could face up to 195 years if convicted on all counts in Illinois, and a life sentence in connection to the New York indictment.” It definitely does not look good for the singer, as he keeps making headlines. As for his “girlfriends,” it will be interesting to see how long they will show their support for. TMZ was told that R. Kelly set up the two women financially, giving them a weekly stipend and paying for pretty much everything. Maybe since the well’s run dry, so will their support.

Stay tuned as this story develops . . .
