SO IT BEGINS. Harvey Weinstein has been extradited to California to face additional sexual assault and rape charges. If convicted he faces more than 140 years in prison.

Weinstein was brought in from Wende Correctional Facility in  New York where he had been serving a 23-year sentence for rape and sexual assault after his conviction in February 2020. He is to appear as soon as Wednesday in Los Angeles for 11 counts of rape, sexual battery and other charges involving five women. Los Angeles county has 120 days after his arrival to begin the trial proceedings against him.

Will Weinstein get convicted in California?
