John Singleton, acclaimed and Oscar nominated Director has passed away at 51. As reported by several outlets and his family representative, he was taken off of life support yesterday after suffering from a stroke.

John was most remember for ”Boyz N the Hood” but also is responsible for the hit show “Snowfall” and also directed several TV show episodes for shows like “Empire”, “Billions” and the “People vs. OJ” He leaves behind 7 children and was previously married only to Akosua Busia.

I am praying that he has a will and or trust in place since his daughter Cleopatra in the midst of his comma was already fighting John’s mother Sheila Ward regarding conservatorship over his accounts claiming she was attempting to leave his children out of decisions and inheritance.
