It was announced earlier this week that Kim has sold part of her KKW beauty brand to Coty Inc, like Jenner did last year.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Screen-Shot-2020-07-01-at-10.37.37-AM.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2450 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Screen-Shot-2020-07-01-at-10.37.37-AM-300x273.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"273\" srcset=\"https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Screen-Shot-2020-07-01-at-10.37.37-AM-300x273.png 300w, https:\/\/askcarterlaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Screen-Shot-2020-07-01-at-10.37.37-AM.png 729w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to press release from Coty Inc., Kardashian only sold 20 percent of KKW beauty to the company for a whopping $200 million. The transaction calls for the company to further develop KKW Beauty into a global brand. However, Seed Beauty, the company that helped launch Kylie\u2019s beauty line, is now suing Coty Inc. for allegedly stealing trade secrets while investing $600 million in exchange for majority stake in Jenner\u2019s company. \u00a0Seed has already been successful in gaining an injunction that would prevent former partner, Kim Kardashian, from sharing trade secrets with Coty in her upcoming deal.
