SUED: Gwyneth Paltrow’s trial over 2016 ski collision begins

SUED. On Tuesday, March 21, Gwyneth Paltrow’s court trial regarding her 2016 ski collision began.

In 2016, actress and businesswoman, Gwyneth Paltrow and 76 year old, Terry Sanderson were both skiing at Deer Valley Resort in Utah. Sanderson, the plaintiff, claims that Paltrow skied into him causing brain damage and broken ribs. Paltrow is opposing his claims and says that Sanderson skied into her while she was with her family.

On Tuesday, both Paltrow and Sanderson’s attorneys gave their opening statements in front of 8 jurors. Sanderson initially sued Paltrow for $3.1 million; however, he changes his complaint and is now seeking $300,000 in damages. Paltrow is asking for $1 in damages plus her court fees.

Will Paltrow pay $300,000 or get paid $1?
