EVERY VOTE COUNTS: Rapper Snoop Dogg to Vote for the First Time Ever

Doggs Can Vote Too!

There is a first time for everything, including world renowned rapper Snoop Dogg’s first time voting. You heard it correctly, the 48 year old artist will be exercising his right to vote for the first time in his life during this year’s presidential election.

The rapper was interviewed by Big Boy on the Real 92.3 last week to explain the reason why he has never voted before this year. It is already public knowledge that Snoop has fallen in trouble with the law in the past, most notably being charged with a murder in 1993 and being subsequently acquitted. He told Big Boy that for many years he was “brainwashed” and thought he couldn’t vote because he has a criminal record. After learning the truth and that his record has been expunged, he will now vote evidently against the interest of the current president stating “..I can’t stand to see this punk in office one more year,”.

The father of 3 is not the only one joining the party this year. Rapper, Offset of the group ‘Migos’ who dropped his solo album ‘Father of 4’, recently took to Instagram to share that he voted for the first time in Georgia State Primary Election after getting past his record.

Do you think these celebrities will have an influence on their fans to vote?
