Cosby found guilty on all Charges

Bill Cosby was found guilty of sexual assault in retrial on all three counts and faces up to 10 years in prison and up to $25,000 in fines for each count.

The counts are as follows:

1) Without her (Constand) consent

2) While she was unconscious

3) While she was intoxicated or under influence

Cosby contends that his encounter with plaintiff Constand was consensual and the other witnesses that gave prior “bad acts” statements were framing him for fame and extortion. Constand had previously settled out of Court with Cosby in a civil suit and after her alleged assault continued to contact him which has always made her case troubling. However, she was the last person that could bring a case against him since all the other alleged victims had allowed their SOL to pass on their claims. One of these alleged victims was supermodel Janice Dickinson. Some of his witnesses had even said to others they could “frame a high profile” person. Even with all this, the defense was not successful in defending Cosby and a lot of people claim the influence of the #metoo campaign had a lot to do with this guilty verdict.

Cosby’s first trial last year ended in a mistrial. He will remain on bail until sentencing.

We will have to see if the judge will take into consideration his age (80) and blindness.
