Denial: Cardi B doesn’t think she is going to Jail

Cardi B “ain’t going to jail.” She chanted this in between songs during her performance at the B.E.T. awards.

This past Friday, Cardi B was indicted by a grand jury in Queens, New York, for an altercation in August 2018. Cardi B and members of her entourage allegedly threw drinks, a hookah, and chairs at employees of the Angels Strip Club in New York. The specific charges in the indictment are sealed until after her arraignment tomorrow, June 25. However, the initial, known charges are for misdemeanor assault and reckless endangerment.

Is Cardi B free from all punishment for the alleged assault? Her lawyer claims she did not injure anyone, and she also rejected a plea offer from the Queen’s D.A. back in April. If Cardi B actually threw some of the above mentioned items, then she will likely face some jail time; however, if she was not participating in the altercation or if there is no proof that she participated, then she could avoid jail time. Will Cardi B go to jail? Will she avoid any criminal liability for her actions at the New York strip club? Stay tuned to find out what will happen to Cardi B, as more details about her indictment will come out tomorrow after her arraignment.
